DELGADO - Roseanne Marie Delgado, 72, passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving mother and a woman of remarkable strength whose life was grounded in service, family and unwavering dedication.
Born on Feb. 23, 1953, Roseanne was one of five children and grew up with a strong sense of family, responsibility and resilience. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy early in her life. It was during her Naval service that she met her future husband, John Delgado.
Throughout John's 20-year Naval career as a submariner, Roseanne carried much of the responsibility of raising their two sons – Alex Delgado and Gabriel "Gabe" Delgado – while he was deployed at sea year after year. Her strength, patience and steady presence created a loving and supportive home despite the long separations and challenges of military life. Her devotion to her family stands as one of the greatest testaments to her character.
After John's retirement from active duty, he continued his service to the military in a civil service role working on submarines, and Roseanne remained the center of their home and daily life.
Roseanne is survived by her husband, John Delgado. Their 46th wedding anniversary would have been Nov. 25. She is also survived by their two sons, Alex Delgado and Gabriel Delgado, who carry forward the memories of her devotion and the many quiet ways she cared for them.
Roseanne lived a quiet and very private life. She found comfort in the familiar routines of home and in the presence of her family. Though she never sought attention or a large social circle, her steady commitment to her household and the people closest to her shaped the rhythm of their lives. Her family will remember her in the ways she showed care – often quietly, always consistently – and in the strength she demonstrated throughout the years.
