Donovan Lloyd Waugh Gold Canyon, AZ - Donovan Lloyd Waugh, age 88, died Oct. 31, 2025, in Gold Canyon, Arizona. He was born July 9, 1937, to William and Dorothy (Goodman) Waugh of Dekorra. He married Janet Marilyn James on September 14, 1957, in Madison. Donovan completed his graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He and his wife had three children. The family lived in the rural Poynette area. They were members of the Inch United Methodist Church, the home church for the Waugh families for years. Donovan enjoyed working with people around the world. The family moved to Arizona in 1986. He began his research into his Johann Sebastian Bach connection at the age of 80. He wrote a book "A Touch of Bach in Wisconsin and Beyond," a history of the Bach descendants in Columbia and Dane counties. Survivors include his son, Kurt (Kaye), Illinois and daughter Melody (Andy), Arizona, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn, in 1991 and his son, Mark, in 2021. Celebration of Life pending.
