ANNA RANDALL Obituary

Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home

Anna Grace Roberts was born July 7, 1919, to William Whitsett Roberts and Eliza Sophia Palmer in Helena, Montana. She graduated from Three Forks High School in 1937 and on June 4, 1937, married Lester Joseph Lewis. To this union was born one child, Jo Ann.

Until 1952, Anna lived in Bozeman, Montana. During the short war years, she lived in California and worked in the shipyards as did her husband Lester. They moved back to Montana, where they owned first a grocery store (Dry Creek Grocery) and a couple years later, a restaurant in Manhattan, Montana. She also worked as a bookkeeper in Bozeman for several years for the firms of Inland Empire Auto and Implement Company, Consolidated Freightways, and the Bozeman hotel.

In 1952, Anna and family moved to Benton City, Washington, where she lived until the early 1960's. She worked as a secretary out at Hanford, and in 1958, she was honored as Secretary of the Year for the Pas-Ric-Ken Chapter of the National Secretaries Association. She was a charter member of the local chapter.

In the early 1960's, Anna and Lester moved to Kennewick. They lived there until Lester passed away in 1968.

On May 10, 1969, Anna married Edward Joseph Randall. They lived in Spokane and Benton City. Ed passed away in 1984. After Ed's death, Anna worked for the Benton City School District and she also worked as a seamstress in her home.

Anna leaves her daughter, Jo Ann Jordan (John); Five grandchildren: Alice Webber (Greg); Edward Milliman, Jr. (Rhonda); Mark Milliman (Roberta); Shawna Doublin (Tommy); and Colleen Brown (Phil). She also leaves 11 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
