Arturo Partida Obituary

Arturo Partida

June 23, 1959 - February 7, 2024

Richland, Washington - Arturo "Art" Partida

On February 7, 2024, our beloved Arturo Partida, known to most as "Art", peacefully entered his eternal rest at the age of 64. He is survived by his wife Myrna; daughter Carissa and her wife Sara; daughter Alyssia; son Alejandro and grandson Xavier; as well as sister Gloria Cobos; Estella Elder; Olivia and Joann Partida; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Art was born to Hilario and Refugia Partida in Pasco, WA, where he lived in the Tri-Cities his whole life. The contributions to his family and community are extensive but the love and kindness he offered everyone who crossed his path will forever be his legacy. He was a PHS alumni and enjoyed supporting his hometown teams, which included coaching all three of his children in various sports. At the age of 10, he won a local bike race that was announced in the Tri-City Herald.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home in Kennewick, WA beginning at 10:00AM.

In Lieu of flowers you can make contribution to St. Jude's Hospital in his memory.

Art was a great person and dedicated father. I remember him from his dedication to coaching junior high school basketball JV practice and the patience he had for us girls as we often tested him during those days! I am saddened to hear of his passing and the loss of his presence for his family. My deepest sympathies to the Partida Family as they face this difficult time. May God bring you all closer together in remembering the loving father you were blessed with. Rest in Peace Coach (Art) Partida; you were a kind man of God!!! Thank you for your service to the youth in sports!

So sad to hear of Art´s passing. Always a smile when we happened to see each other. We met Art when he coached our youngest daughter in soccer.. plus he was married to my second cousin... Myrna. My thoughts and prayers in this difficult time. Love Chata and family.
