Asuncion C. Maguigad, age 57, of Connell, died Sunday, May 1, 2005, in Pasco. She was born March 19, 1948, in Tuguegarao, Philippines, to Vicente and Narcisa Maguigad.
Asuncion came to the United States, making her home in Idaho. She later moved to Connell where she made her home for many years. She had worked at both Kennewick and Richland Life Care Centers for several years. She later worked for ConAgra in Connell. Asuncion loved the simple pleasures of life and especially the country lifestyle. She also loved to bake.
Asuncion is survived by her brothers, Melanio Maguigad, of Pasco and Dante and Jose Maguigad of the Philippines; sisters, Lucia Vanhanehan, of New York, and Lorna Lazo, of the Philippines; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The mass will be held Friday, May 13, 2005, at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Connell. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Connell.
The holy rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 6 p.m. at St. Vincent's Catholic Church.
Viewing will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home, 1608 W. Court Street, Pasco.
