Brian Marple Obituary

Brian Marple

February 1, 2024

New York City, New York - Brian was with us 41 short years. He was raised in Kennewick, Washington by Mary and Steve Marple and lived in New York City at the time of his passing.

He enjoyed music and played the viola when he was younger. In school he studied business and the travel industry which led to his career in banking and finance. He worked in the mortgage department at the United Nations Federal Credit Union where he held a leadership role in the business resources group. He was happy there and had an amazing work family.

Brian had lived in Washington, Oregon, California and Nevada, but always returned to New York which he considered his home. He loved to travel and enjoyed visiting Europe, especially Paris.

He could be quiet and reserved, but he loved comedy and making people laugh, especially his brothers. He had a passion for politics and debate and we're gonna miss his colorful commentary on this year's upcoming election.

We'll remember Brian for how caring he was to his family. This was displayed when he moved back from New York to care for his mother during her cancer recovery, and by the care he provided his grandmother who had suffered from Alzheimer's in the years preceding her death. He was there for them with love, patience, support and kindness. He will be greatly missed.

Brian is survived by his parents; Mary in Spokane, and Steve (Kathy) in Kennewick; his brothers Eric (Sara) and Nathan(Trishell); sister Mickaela; nephew D'Angelo; nieces Adelynn and Ella; uncle Bob (Sue Anne); and cousins Brandon (Amy), Justin, and Katie.

A memorial service for Brian will be held on Saturday, April 13th at 11am at the First United Methodist Church in Kennewick (2 S. Dayton St. Kennewick, WA 99336). In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Brian's memory to the First United Methodist Church or to the Alzheimer's Association.

I´m pretty sure that knowing you in the way that i knew you You wouldn´t like to se your name all over the place, but I have to be honest still very hard to understand what happened and still very hard to know that we´re living in our world without you, so In the meantime I will make honor to your name . The only thing I know for sure is that you are one of the greatest things that ever happened to my life. I´m grateful for the precious moment that we have together and I know and I´m pretty sure inside of my heart That you are with all of us. My condolences are going to your family. I´m still missing you and I´m still praying for you. You will always be on my mind, always in every achievement, every goal; you will be there. Rest in peace Mr Brian .
