Brian Wilcox Obituary

Brian Wilcox
September 3, 1946 - May 19, 2021
Benton City, Washington - Brian Arthur Wilcox, 74, of Benton City, passed on May 19, 2021 of natural causes.
Brian was born on September 3, 1946. After graduating high school, he joined the US Navy, honorably serving his country during the Vietnam War as a Shipfitter/Metal Smith.
Brian was co-owner of Wilcox & Solis Construction for over 10 years during the 1970's housing boom. He then owned B. Wilcox Enterprises and continued framing in the Tri-Cities until he was subcontracted by Blaze Construction to build housing on Native American Reservations throughout the Western United States. Following this 3-year endeavor, he moved his business to Redding, CA until returning home to the Tri-Cities in the 1990's. He also worked as a contractor for Bechtel out at Hanford before retiring in 2010.
Brian enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting and camping. An avid angler, he was in many bass tournaments and went fishing almost every weekend.
Brian is survived by his brother, Lee Wilcox (Barbara), daughter Paula Pendergrass (John), son Erick Wilcox (Cristy), daughter Shelli Wilcox (Rudy), grandchildren Michelle Pendergrass, Madison Pendergrass, Austin Wikstrand, Alex Wilcox, and William Wilcox.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Wilcox (Carol), mother, Andrea Plennevaux, and brother, Paul Wilcox.
A celebration of life will occur on June 26, 2021. Call Shelli Wilcox at (509) 366-6965 for information.
