Burns Mortuary of Hermiston

Fawn Elizabeth Ironbear was born in Richland, Washington on Sept. 29, 1981 to parents, Arden & Joanne Giffen. She died on Sunday April 18, 2010, at the Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston at the age of 28 years. She was baptized on Oct. 20, 1981 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kennewick, WA; She attended St. Joseph School in Kennewick. Fawn moved to the quiet community of Irrigon, OR 5 yrs ago. In this community Fawn and her faily have received peace, support and understanding.

Fawn was preceded in death by grandfathers. Aaron Kent, & Andrew Ironbear; grandmother, Mary Younger; aunt, Jessie Sparks; uncle, Bill Tapio.

She is survived by her parents, Joanne K. McKenzie & Arden Giffen. Grandmother, Nancy Kent; brothers, Brian Ironbear, Daniel Thompson, Evan Ironbear, Ben Ironbear. Sister, Keristan Ironbear. Nephews, Aaron Ironbear, Austin Ironbear, niece, Angel Ironbear. Aunts & uncle; Cindy & Michael Hiltwien, David & Patsy Kent, John & LeAnne Kent; greataunts & uncles, John & Odessa Mann; Lemon & Christine Davis; cousins, Jessica, Joanne, Lola, Ashly, David, Andrea, Delbert, Daniel, Kayleen. God Parents, Cindy & Michael Hiltwien.

Recitation of the Rosary & Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday April 23, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Hermiston. Burial will follow in the Desert Lawn Cemetery in Irrigon, Oregon.

Oh, I'm so sorry. I only knew Fawn for a year or two in high school but I remember her always being a very quiet and sweet soul. I will miss her very much.
