John Coldiron Obituary


Kennewick, Wash.

John rode off for his eternal Harley ride on June 14, 2009 at the age of 56.

He was born in Hillsboro, Oregon on May 24, 1953 to Jack and Irma Coldiron. He passed away peacefully at home in his sleep in Kennewick, Washington unexpectedly.

In 2003 John was reunited with his friend Linda, together they moved to Alaska, married and adopted Linda's granddaughter Allienna. The three of them lived in Alaska for 3 years and had the time of their lives fishing, whale watching and watching the bald eagles fly over head.

John belonged to the Undertakers Bike Club for many years. He loved to hunt and fish with family and friends and always had a story to tell about the good times. John loved to ride his Harley from friend to friend to check on them and to talk about the good old days.

John was a Teamster truck driver for many years and belonged the to Eagles and the Tri-Cities Metallic Silhouette Association in Pasco.

John is survived by wife Linda, daughters Allienna, Kari, Joanne (Bill), Laura (Guy), sons David (Amanda), John and Josh and stepsons David (Tieunka), Chris and Shawn, sisters, Cathy and Carol along with numerous grandchildren, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law Dale Rhode and family.

He is now with his father, mother and brother Byron.

There will be a wake for John at his house starting at 2p.m. Saturday June 27th, we'll be planting a garden in his honor, you are invited to bring a plant. John loved to take care of his hundreds of roses, with his favorite rose being any shade of red. Sunday June 28th we will gather together at his house, starting at 9 a.m. for a motorcycle ride to Dayton in his honor. Anybody that would like to follow in cars is welcome.
