Jonathan Tyree Obituary

Richland, Wash.

Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home

We wish to share the loss of our son Jonathan Eric Tyree with all who knew and befriended him in the area. Jonathan was new to Richland and developed a love for the high desert. We thank everyone who has touched Jon's life in the short time he made Richland his home. He made many friends, embraced his church family and blessed the lives of his family and all those that knew him.

We will remember Jon as a young man of convictions. He honored his country and all those who serve and have served to defend and maintain the freedoms we are so fortunate to have today. Jon never passed a soldier or veteran without thanking them for their service. Jon joined the United States Air Force in 2005. Weeks before active duty, Jon experienced a cardiac event that disqualified him for active service. We will always remember his commitment to serve and be blessed by his great love of this free nation.

Jon loved books, reading and storing up truth and knowledge. Jon loved his family and cherished his brothers and sisters and was actively involved in their lives. Everyone who knew Jon was aware of his passion for music and the impact music played in his life. Jon thrived by writing his thoughts and opinions in a well-worn notebook as he listened to his favorite music. Perhaps one of Jon's favorite pastimes was to debate current events and politics with knowledgeable people.

Jon enjoyed the last three months of his life living with his father. This time was a blessing in both their lives. We thank everyone for his or her loving thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Services for Jonathan will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2007, in LaPorte, Indiana.
