Kennewick, Washington - Josephine Ortiz, born Josefina Reyna on August 27, 1936, was the daughter of the late Manuel Reyna and Juana Armijo. She departed this earthly life on Thursday December 8, 2022 at the age of 86. She was taken from many that loved her. She married the man that made her heart pitter patter, Ernesto Ortiz Sr. Together they made a life and raised 6 beautiful children. Richard, Dolores, Ernesto Jr., Yolanda, Manuel and Esteban. Josephine worked as a dedicated employee at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital before retiring. After retirement she continued to volunteer in the facility until the health of her beloved husband declined. She then dedicated herself to be by his side. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, colleague and friend. She touched the lives of so many people. She will be truly missed and will never be forgotten. Josephine is survived by her 6 children. Richard Ortiz (Heather), Dolores Ramirez (Ruben), Ernesto Ortiz Jr. (Geri), Yolanda Pacheco (Eddie), Manuel Ortiz (Ruby), and Esteban Ortiz (Romelia). Also her beautiful grandchildren, Corrina, Logan, Mason, Jaxon, Mario, Ruben, Justin, Georgina, the late Stella, David, Robert, Sophia, Eddie Jr., Michael, Alicia, Christopher, Brittany, Levi, Marcus, Justine, Kelsey, Selena, and Jalen. She also left behind numerous beautiful great grandchildren.
