Justin Krumbah Obituary

Justin Ryan Krumbah
May 6, 1983 - February 7, 2022
Richland, Washington - Justin Ryan Krumbah, 38, of Pasco, Washington, passed away on February 7, 2022, after being shot and killed in the Fred Meyer, Richland, Washington, shootings.
Justin was born on May 6, 1983 to Edward L. Krumbah and Karen Marie Jennings-Mullins in Walla Walla, Washington.
Justin was a mechanic with no formal training. He used YouTube a lot and figured things out. He loved to bake and would share his goodies with family and friends alike! He loved mastering a cake mold and frosting it to look just like the picture. He made cookies, cakes and candy that were his Gramma Shirley Jennings' recipes passed down to him from his mom and shared those too! He loved watching football with his good neighbors, Seth & Erin Glossen, and was an avid SEAHAWKS fan! "GO HAWKS!!"
Justin had a heart of GOLD and wore his "heart on his sleeve." He was passionate and took pride in everything he did. He gave it his all, even in things others could care less about. He finally found his "calling" in life when his good friend, Rich Startin, told him about Instacart. He took pride in being self-employed, working for himself by shopping for others and the comments he received back reflected that. He always went above and beyond what he really needed to do. He was EXTREMELY organized, which really helped in his job! Some might say he was a little OCD (which was a good thing!).
He had dreams and goals and everyday he worked towards fulfilling those. He will DEFINITELY be missed, leaving a BIG hole in his large family!
He is survived by his mother, Karen (Dave) Jennings-Mullins; father, Edward (Virginia) Krumbah.; brothers, Steven (Sara) Krumbah, Matthew (Shaela) Krumbah, Timothy (Christina) Krumbah; sisters, Krista (Mark) Schaaf, Rebekah (Corey) Kennedy; stepbrothers, Travis (Brandy) Mullins, Chad (Amanda) Grimes, Justin (Kelsie) Grimes; stepsister, Brandi (Ryan) Schouviller AND numerous nieces and nephews and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hugh and Shirley Jennings, and William and Gertrude Krumbah; uncle, Harlind L. Krumbah and aunt, Loy L. (Krumbah) Hahn.
There will be a public viewing Friday, February 18th, 2022, from 5:00-8:00 PM at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home: 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick, WA.
A "Celebration of Life" (Funeral) will be held at The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon): 515 S. Union Street, Kennewick, WA., Saturday, February 19th, 2022, at 12:00 PM (Family will meet in the Relief Society room at 11:00 AM).
Burial will be immediately afterwards at Mueller's Desert Lawn Memorial Park: 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick, WA.
After the burial, there will be a luncheon at Highlands Grange Hall: 1600 S. Union Street, Kennewick, WA., for Family & Close Friends.
From his family: We have been OVERWHELMED by the outpouring of love from EVERYONE and want to say a heartfelt "THANK YOU!!"

I have no idea of the grief that you are suffering as it happened so quickly and senselessly. Having been with you thru some tough times I know that you will be strong for the rest of the family. At a time like this words are so inadequate, just know that you and yours are in my thoughts. Bless you all.

Dear heart...I see your sweet face and a light shining from the depths of your soul; this world was a better place from having had you in it. God bless you and your family and loved ones, as you have blessed us.
