LORI ELIZABETH WELK

Lori Elizabeth (Rabe) Welk died Aug. 27, 2009, at the age of 48. She was born to William and Carol Rabe on January 7, 1961, in Richland, WA.

She is survived by her mother, Carol Rabe; her daughter and son-in-law, Nicci Armijo and RC Briones; as well as her grandchildren, Amya, Alyiah, Xavier and Justice Briones. Also her sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Ken Kurnoff, as well as their children, Gavin and Garrett Kurnoff; and her two brothers, Chris and Carey Rabe, whom all she loved dearly!

Lori worked locally as a bartender and a Dental Hygienist, which she really enjoyed. She was very outgoing, big-hearted and loved to make people laugh! She loved to spend time with her grandchildren in her garden and just cuddling up together watchin' movies. She was a great grandma!

She also loved to cook, spending time with friends and family on the river fishing, boating and canning asparagus and salsa for everyone to enjoy!

Lori was a unique individual who will truly be missed by all and will always have a special place in our hearts.

Memorial services will be held at St. Patrick's Church in Pasco on October 9, 2009, at 4:30 p.m. Donations for Lori's services can be received through HAPO Community Credit Union.
