TATUM JACKSON Obituary

7/11/2007-2/26/2015

Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home

Tatum was born seven years ago to her devoted and loving parents, Annette Bonino and Darren Stewart Jackson. She was their miracle baby after many years of wanting to have a child. Being an only child, she was her parents' whole world. Seven happy years were spent watching her grow into a star student, a budding artist, a caring and kind friend, and seeing her dance her way through her tragically short life.

Tatum attended Ridge View Elementary and was a second grader. She truly loved going to school each day and we are grateful for the teachers and staff there who inspired her. We know that she would have gone on to do great things.

Tatum was looking forward to making her First Communion in April.

Tatum enjoyed many activities, including piano and swimming lessons, regular trips to the library to satisfy her avid love of reading, summer time acting, dancing and art classes, and most importantly, play dates with all her friends. Tatum valued her friendships so much, and was a really good friend to so many.

It is impossible to capture the essence of this bright, shining, little girl in words. She was a gift to all who knew her. To have that light extinguished so suddenly and inexplicably has devastated those she left on this earth. We ask all who read this to treasure your children and honor Tatum's memory by holding your family close.

Rest in peace, our beautiful angel. The love we have for you transcends your passingyou will live forever in our hearts and memories.

Tatum is survived by her loving parents, Annette and Darren, her grandparents, Pamela and Richard Bonino and Dorothy Jackson, her Aunt Lisa, Uncle Mark and her cousins/brothers Cason and Riggins Mitchell, her Uncle Barry and Aunt Jennifer Jackson, her greatgrandmothers, Mary Nelson and Doris Bonino and her extended California family. Also, her "aunts" Sandy Wolfer and Angela Carr who cared for her like she was their own. Her two cats Nola and BK, who have looked for her every day since she left us. And finally, the friends, neighbors, classmates and all her "family" in the Pacific Northwest whose lives she brightened with her magical presence.

Tatum will be laid to rest on Saturday, March 7th at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of the Nativity in Menlo Park, California. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Parish of the Holy Spirit in Kennewick on Friday, March 20th at 1:00 p.m. The family invites you to sign their online tribute wall at www.muellersfuneralhomes.com.
