WILLIAM GEORGE "BILL" BELLIS

WILLIAM BELLIS Obituary

William "Bill" George Bellis was born April 6, 1944 in Streator, Illinois and died December 16, 2013 in Richland, Washington.

Living in the Tri-Cities for 36 years, Bill serviced hundreds of swimming pools as owner of Quality Pools and his customers LOVED him.

In years past, Bill played softball on the church league for Riverview Baptist Church in Pasco where he attended, cooking at men's breakfast on Saturdays, and serviced the baptistry.

His passion was bass fishing. A member of the Columbia Basin Bass Club for 30 years, Bill fished over 120 tournaments. At age 69, Bill was awarded year-end trophies and honored at the Club's Award Banquet on November 23, 2013.

Bill was known as the Guy with the big huge generous kind and loving heart; and was Dad, Grandpa, Uncle Bill and "The Pool Man" to many. He will be missed!

Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carolyn (McDonald) Bellis, children; Beth (Bellis) Landry, Todd Bellis and Jill, Tammy (Bellis) and Jeff Gariepy, Toni (Bellis) Desimone, Tiphany (Bellis) and Rob Farris, stepson Doug Hexum and Marti, brother George Bellis and Sharon, sister Jean (Bellis) and Chuck Panno, 14 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at the Living Room Community Church, 1409 S. Garfield St., Kennewick, WA 99336. There will be a reception following the service at the church.
