Shawn Christman Obituary

Shawn Patrick Christman, 27, of Allentown, died unexpectedly Monday at home after a brief illness.
His wife is the former Elizabeth Schroeder.
Born in Scranton on April 25, 1981, he was the son of Robert and Nancy Christman and Diane and Michael Barro, all of Waymart.
Shawn was a 1999 graduate of Western Wayne High School and resided in the Waymart area most of his life. He worked in the computer technology field and was employed at TR Associates in Peckville before moving to Allentown a year ago. A beloved son, brother, and uncle, he was especially loving and devoted to his babies who were the center of his life. He was an avid Eagles fan and liked to golf.
He is also survived by his children, Connor Edward and Abigail Rose, at home; a brother, Donald Christman and wife Kimberly, Waymart; a sister, Colleen Richner and husband Steven, Pleasant Mt.; his maternal grandmother, Rachael Simmons, Waymart; nieces and nephews, Stephanie and Cameron Kilgallon, Isabelle and Steven Richner III, Jacob Christman, and Josh and Thaddeus Romance, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Friday evening at 8pm from the Jenkins Funeral Home, 269 Belmont St., Waymart, conducted by the Rev. John Albosta; pastor of St. Mary's Church,Waymart.
Friends may call Friday, January 23, from 7 p.m. until time of the service.

Shawn was an employee of TR Associates and he would come to our law office to help us with some of our computer problems. Shawn was a very smart, kind and low-keyed person. He showed us pictures of his beloved children. We were so sorry to see him move to Allentown. And now, we are astonished he is gone. God bless him and his family. We really considered him a friend.

Shawn was so loved by us all at TR Associates. He was a very smart and sweet young man , I called my friend .His loss is overwhelming to us and his beautiful family.We talked so many times about our kids and our Eagles and he spoke with so much pride. He'll be sorely missed with love.
