JOYCE LANG
Joyce Maxine Lang, 99, of Newton, Kansas formally of Stafford, Kansas, passed away on November 4, 2025, at the Kansas Christian Home in Newton, Kansas.
Graveside Services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Stafford Cemetery, Highway 50 and NE 70th Ave, Stafford, Kansas 67578, . There will be a small gathering for family and friends held after the service at Joan's, 454 Martin Ave, Stafford, Kansas 67578. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Minnis Chapel, Stafford.
Joyce was born in Claflin, Kansas to Walter and Fannie Dale on April 12, 1926. She attended school in Stafford and graduated in 1944. She was united in marriage to Keith Lang on September 22, 1946, in Reno County Kansas. Joyce worked in a long-term care facility for many years and raised their two daughters at home. She enjoyed being active within her church and had a strong connection to her faith, attending services at both the First Christian Church and the Methodist Church. Joyce enjoyed traveling with her husband, Keith, and together they took many bus tours with one her favorites trips being to Nova Scotia and the surrounding areas. Joyce and her daughters spent lots of time lost in laughter and shared many fun memories with those close to them about their antics.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband; Keith Lang, daughter; Jeanna Barnes, son in law; Ralph Lindsey, and close friend; Ike Gillet.
Joyce is survived by her daughter Cynthia (Cyndi) Lindsey of California, Missouri, 4 grandchildren; Marsha Barker of Pratt, Kansas, Jarrod Lang (wife, Kyla) of Sharon, Kansas, Chad Lindsey (wife, Amber) of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Kyla Lindsey of Jefferson City, Missouri. Four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Memorials can be sent to the Pratt Area Humane Society, in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 247, Stafford 67578. Animals were special to Joyce, and she enjoyed many adopted pets over the years.
