SHELIA ROSE Obituary

SHELIA ROSE Salinas, California-Shelia Rae Rose (Rauhut), 65 of Salinas, California, unexpectedly passed away peacefully at her home on November 9, 2025. Shelia died of a broken heart after losing her husband Brad Rose 4 months prior after his courageous battle with ALS. Shelia was a thoughtful loving woman. Shelia was a devoted wife, the best mom, the greatest grandmother, and friend to many! Shelia was born on November 21, 1959, in Wichita, Kansas and raised in Coats, Kansas. She graduated from Skyline School in 1978. Brad and Shelia met at the Pratt County fair in 1981, married in 1983, and shortly after relocated to California to build their family, ran a business for 34 years, and celebrated 42 years of marriage. Recognized for her stylish hair style, un-forgetful smile, and big, beautiful eyes, Shelia always offered support to friends and family. Shelia maintained a strong social calendar yet often volunteered her time through the North County Chamber of Commerce, Salinas Relay for Life, Castroville Artichoke Festival, and Prunedale Senior Center to name a few. Above all, Shelia's favorite thing to do was spend time spoiling her "pumpkin heads," grandchildren Aubrey, Chloe, and Brooks Rose. Shelia is survived and will forever be missed and cherished by her mother Monica Rauhut, sisters Linda Metcalf (Del), Susan Williams (Charlie), brother Kelly Rauhut (Mario), sons Casey (Amy) and Lucas (Ada); and Brad's brother Jack Rose. Memorial contributions can be made in memorial of Shelia Rose (Rauhut): City of Pratt Parks Department P.O. Box 807 Pratt, Kansas 67124
