Darlene Stark Obituary
Darlene graduated from Troy High School and was employed by Transworld Entertainment Group .She enjoyed spending her time with family and lifelong friends.
She was the beloved wife of Walter ( Jerry ) Stark and devoted mother to Michael Mahoney ,Gerald Mahoney, Jonathan Stark and Brittany Stark all of Troy NY and step mother to Joel Stark ( Laura ) of Alexandria VA and Traci Gallagher ( Scott ) of Lebanon OH. She was the youngest sister of Lawrence (Larry ) Mahoney (Jean ) , John ( Jack ) Mahoney ( Elaine ) ,Thomas Mahoney , Gerald ( Jerry ) Mahoney (Ruth ) and William Mahoney ,Betsy O'Dell ( Theron ) ,Mary Grimmick ( Ray ) , Rose Duncan ( Henry ) ,Ellen Mahoney ( Fred ) ,Germain Mahoney ( Sean) and Linda Mahoney . She was also survived by her mother-in-law Virginia Stark ( Prefore ) and her brother in- law David Stark and his wife Deborah of Green Island NY . Darlene's greatest joy was being with her grandchildren Christopher, Nicholas, Uriah, Ethan , Kyle and Alicia .She is also survived by many nieces ,nephews and cousins.
The family sincerely thanks Jill O'Dell and Tiphany Chrisikos for their wonderful care and kindness .Those wishing to make a donation in Darlene's memory may do so to the American Cancer Society
Darlene's family and friends are invited to attend a gathering on Wednesday morning April 2, 2014 at 11 am at The Gardner Earl Crematory Chapel on Oakwood Ave. in Troy The interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Watervliet .
