I met Donnie thirty years ago on a camping trip, not knowing he would soon be my neighbor. He was the first guy I ever saw watch a Western movie on purpose, he laughed with his whole body, and was always welcoming, no matter how many times my sister and I showed up at the door. He brought into the world four kids who are strong and have bigger hearts than even they realize. Amanda, Rach, Jason, and Michael- I've been thinking of you all week, and I hope those big hearts are healing. Love to all of you.
