L. Margaret Laranjo

LARANJO, L. MARGARET COHOES - L. Margaret Laranjo, 74, of Hudson Avenue, Cohoes died at St. Mary's Hospital, Troy on Sunday, July 31, 2011 after a long illness. She was born in Cohoes, graduated from Keveny Memorial Academy, Cohoes and Grasslands Nursing School as an LPN. Daughter of the late Joseph and Loretta Corbeil Laranjo. She was a LPN at Cohoes Memorial Hospital for many years and retired from Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield as an administrative clerk. Survivors include her son, Paul (Jalenda) Flewwellin of North Carolina, her sister, Cecilia Garceau of Watervliet and her brother William Laranjo of California and the late Joseph Laranjo, Jr. Grandmother of Joseph and Joshua and also survived by nephews. Funeral Wednesday 11:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev. James Ebert officiating. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11:00am.
