Lucien Boucot Obituary

Lucien F. “Lou” Boucot, Jr. PETERSBURGH- Lucien F. “Lou” Boucot, Jr. formerly of Petersburgh died on Saturday March 31, 2012 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital North MS in Oxford, MS after a brief illness. He and his wife Pat lived in Batesville, MS. Born in Suffern, NY on June 27, 1937, he was the son of the late Lucien F. and Rose Margaret Kane Boucot, Sr. He was the loving husband of 52 years to the former Patricia Ann Durden. Lou was a United States Army veteran. He was employed as an inspector with the New York State Department of Transportation. He was predeceased by a daughter Renee Dawn Boucot who died on July 19, 1997. He is survived by his wife Pat and a sister Lorraine John of Windsor, NY A memorial service will be held at his home on Tuesday, April 3rd at 7 PM. Burial will take place in the Meadowlawn Cemetery in Petersburgh at a later date. Memorial contributions in Lou';s memory may be made to the Mt. Olivet Fire Dept., 38075 Hwy 315, Batesville, MS 38606. Arrangements by the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home of Petersburgh.

I just received the notice of the death of Lou. He was a dear friend that went back many years. We shared many a evening together when I served as pastor at the Baptist Church in Petersburg. We send our best wishes to his wife, Pat.
