Luke Duchowny Obituary

Luke S. Duchowny Sr.CHARLTON - Luke S. Duchowny Sr., 66, of Redwood Dr. died Sunday December 31, 2017 at his residence. Born in Troy and educated in Lansingburgh schools he was the son of the late Frank and Mae Ouimette Duchowny.Luke had many talents; he was an experienced welder, carpenter and auto repair man. He had operated his own car repair garage as well as having been employed in the foundry at GE in Schenectady.He was a former member of the Polish American Community Center in Albany and of the West Crescent Fire Police. Luke enjoyed time spent with his children and boating. He loved his pets and was always the life of the party when he was with his family and friends.He is the husband of Michelle Gibson Duchowny, father of Kellie Duchowny and Frank Duchowny (Jamie) of Latham, Luke "Jabbers" Duchowny Jr. of Halfmoon, Desiree Duchowny of Troy and Bethany Duchowny of Halfmoon. He is the brother of Jane MacDougall (John) of Troy, Tessie Morris (Rick) of Conway S. Carolina, the late Mike, Tom, Gene, and Frank Duchowny. He is also survived by his sister in law Julia Duchowny of Troy, 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.A Memorial service will be held on Friday at 5 pm at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford.Relatives and friends may visit with his family at the funeral home on Friday prior to the service from 3-5 pm.Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 60 East 56th Street, 8th floor, New York, NY 10022.To express your sympathy or share a treasured memory, visit: Brendesefuneralhome.com

So sorry for your loss of your Dad Luke. He was a good man. He has a great legacy in his children, and grandchildren. You are all good people with good hearts ♥ and he was proud of you all I'm sure. I am so sorry for your loss. we have soooo many great memories of uncle Luke.what a blast we had in our younger years.he was one of my favorite uncles and I will miss him so much.he is now with all of his brothers, parents, Danny and Timmy.they had quite a reunion I'm sure. love all of you !
