I loved and admired Paul for so many reasons. Among them, the sheer power and passion he brought to the classroom and the respect he earned from students and staff alike. Being a colleague and also the father of two of his grateful students, I was twice blessed.

I adored Mr. Kapp and I feel privileged to have learned from him. I still remember his vibrant teaching style. He really brought the works to life. Such a quiet, unassuming man, yet such a passionate teacher. He made us laugh with an amazing deadpan expression. I'm never forget him!

They say nobody is perfect, but certainly Paul was perfectly imperfect! I used to observe his class just to see and hear him do his magic!! RIP!!

Mr. Kapp was a quiet, yet passionate teacher who loved sharing his knowledge with his students. How fortunate I was to have him as my AP English teacher. I remember listening to Madame Butterfly in his class and couldnt wait to see it. He will definitely leave a void in the lives of those he leaves behind. May his friends and family know peace and enjoy wonderful memories when they think of him. Rest In Peace.

Paul had the biggest, loving, caring heart for his family, his dear friends and the many students who were so fortunate to learn from his huge wealth of knowledge. We miss you, Paul, and are so grateful for the honor and privilege of being your friends. We love you, Ray, and will keep you in our hearts always.

Paul Kapp was an extraordinary teacher. Though I was in his class 30 years ago, I still remember things he said and the way he brought poetry and literature to life. I feel fortunate to have had his influence in my life. My condolences to his family and friends.

I am so sad. I can still hear your oh-so-distinctive voice, Mr. Kapp. All of the amazing literature you brought to life for us. Your passion, your style, your love of teaching shone through every minute of every class. I wish I'd had the chance to tell you how grateful I am and how lucky I feel that I got to be a tiny part of your life, even if only for a little while.
