To the Vega:
Amanda was a very important part of the Transportation Department and the school as a whole. She had the gift of teaching us how to be better people and she did this through her words and her actions. Words do an injustice explaining how much we will miss Amanda. She will reamin very alive in our memories and admiration.
Our deepest sympathies,

Amanda, yes we go back a long way. I knew that in our minds we would always be together in heart and memory. I got to visit with you and you still had the smile on your face.I will always cherish my times in school with you, laughter, love and wondering what life would be for us. We had our private talks, shared our families and most of all our dreams. Even at the end I know that we will sing our songs we shared, our cheers that kept us smiling no matter what. I will always remember your loving and giving personality. May God give your family strength and shed grace on them as you have given all of us the beauty of what life is all about!! I will always love you forever..I will miss you dearly..Your BFF (Cheeter) Marylou Lopez

Vega family,
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I met Amanda at ASDB where I also work. She always had a warm friendly smile and hello to all. Her attitude was as positive as you could possibly get. She was so hard working and always wanted to do her best. I admired her so very much. Please remember how lucky you were to have her . She touched more lives than you can ever imagine. Everyone she met was blessed to have known her.
May God give you peace.

Vega family my thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories of Amanda bring you comfort. I first met Amanda in our high school yrs. Then later in life we met again as adults both of us married with kids. We worked together for sometime untill I relocated to Syracuse,New York. Then by the grace of God 20yrs. later Amanda and I meet again in Mass at St.Augustine's Cathedral Church. Even with all the time that has passed Amanda still remembered me by name and I to knew her & will never forget her as well... May God Bless her as she now enters the gates of heaven.
