Billie Rae MANZANEDO

MANZANEDO, Billie Rae passed away April 3, 2016 after a courageous battle with ALS. Billie was born in Freeport, IL July 21, 1940 and came to Arizona in 1950. Billie is predeceased by her mother, Mae Elliott (1999) and her beloved son, Michael M. Manzanedo (1982). Billie is survived by her husband, Valentin M. Manzanedo; sons, Valentin Jr. (Christy) and Tony (Joann); sisters, Doris Carr and Evelyn Peek of Illinois. Billie will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Michael Manzanedo (Shannon), Kristina Smith (Jeff), Karina Howerton (Steve), Antonio Manzanedo and Joseph Manzanedo; great- grandchildren, Mckenzie Manzanedo and Noah Howerton and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Billie was a talented hairstylist who owned and operated Stylemakers Hair salon in Tucson from 1984 until her illness forced her early retirement in 2013. Billie's sense of humor and beautiful, brave, fun-loving spirit will forever remain a presence in our lives. Rosary will be recited on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. immediately followed by Memorial Mass at St Joseph's Parish, 215 S. Craycroft in Tucson, AZ.
