I admired Billie from the moment I met her on a tour of Peru. Our first group lunch together was turning into a contest into who had been to the most 3rd world countries. Billie put an end to that nonsense! She was a no-nonsense person. She was very interesting and easy to talk to and quite funny. All those qualities made her a very welcome person on the tour. We got together after the tour too. She visited me in Santa Barbara and in Los Angeles we went on an excellent guided architectural tour of Neutra houses. She loved learning and having new adventures. I came across this photo and wanted to share her love of people and adventure. I'm sorry I didn't get to see her again. I think of her every time I drive by a section of the Van Nuys Airport where I knew she served in WW II. She is someone who is not forgotten!

It is with sadness that we learned of Billies’ death. We became friends while working at the Early Childhood Center at the University of Arizona. That was many years ago. We remember her as a very special person, and we greatly enjoyed our many conversations with her. As a person who had already raised her children, she offered sage advice to us as new parents. Our deepest sympathies to her family.

I think that it's important that the family know that Billie made a major contribution to the PCOA study of aging services for Pima County in the late 1970's. As a result of this study Pima Health Systems was formed her efforts have enabled thousands of people to be assited since that time. If you want other details contact me. We were saddened to hear of your mothers passing. We have known your family for 60 years. Our kids and you used to play together. I worked with your dad at Mountain Bell. Our deepest sympathies,

My deepest Sympathy to the entire family, especially Beth and Page, classmates and Beth a very good friend to my younger sister, Kristina and still today. Reviewing the photos, they resemble many of ours, a time of large families, although at that time, an average size; a time of growing; and a time of so much love. May the memories of your Mom, keep her close, near and dear to your hearts.

To Billies' family and friends,
May God give you strength and heal your hearts at this time of need. Billie was a wonderful friend and dancer. She had such elegance and grace about her in all that she did. I'm certain that Billie is stylizing her way around Gods dance floor. Her warm friendly presence truly enhanced my Oasis / FitCenter Line Dance classes.

My thoughts and prayers are with you (Beth) and your family. I have many fond memories of the times I spent at your house, some you and I still laugh about to this day. Your mother was an incredible woman and I am sad that she is no longer here with us.

Billie's family and Scottie
All our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We will miss our friend Billie and her many talents. She was an awesome dancer and so much fun when we attended the Elks club together with her and Scottie. She, also, attended my line dance classes and fitness classes and was the " best", by far.
A wonderful friend!

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I remember how kind your mom was to me during Beth's slumber party in 8th grade. Her warmth helped me more than she would ever know. God bless you.
