To the Gomez Family: My condolences go out to you for the loss of your Husband, Father & Friend. Carlos was a good man who opened his heart and home to everyone. It was a pleasure knowing Carlos. Even though it has been over 2 months, I just want to tell you Frances, Esther, Sandra & you Yolanda are in my prayers. God Bless you all.

Dear Tio Carlos: I just want to thank you for the wonderful uncle you were to me and to my family and for the love you always showed us. I am sure there's a big celebration in heaven with all the family members that are up there waiting for all of us, and I am sure my mom and my uncle were surprised to see you, and probably are asking you a lot of questions about us , the ones you left behind. I have many fond memories of Carlos and his family on 20th Street. Every summer we would be playing and Carlos would always asked if we wanted some raspados. We would all run home to ask permission and then pile into Carlos's truck. We would always scream as we went into the underpass that lead to downtown. The treat was the best. They were the best time of growing up. Carlos, I have been blessed to you in my life.
