Christa Dunch Sims

SIMS, Christa Dunch, went to a better place on April 30, 2006, after a long battle with cancer. At the time of her passing, Christa was at home with her family as she wished. Christa was born June 16, 1967 to Carole Bertolasio and William Dunch in Sharon, PA. Christa was the most devoted Mother, Wife and Friend. She always remembered the little things that made others smile. She especially enjoyed spending time with her two little angels: Veronica and Sydney. They kept her going the past six years. Nothing made Mom happier than spending time with you. Shopping at the mall, eating out or going to the park. She will always be with you. Jim, Veronica and Sydney want to thank Dr. J. Schwartz, Vicki and BMT staff at UMC: Dr. A. Briggs, NPT's Jennifer, Agnus and Tracy, a wonderful team. You all are very special and managed to make our Mom better each time. You become our second family. One-day Christa's wish will come true and there will be a cure for cancer. Christa wanted to do something for her very best of friends, her "sisters". Because of your support and thoughtfulness, we were able to have more time together. Thank you Amy, Liz, Chris, Karen and Mary Ellen. Thank you to everyone that helped out and attended the benefit. This world has lost one of the most very special people, but there is a new angel to watch over us. Veronica and Sydney will dearly miss their Mommy, and Dad has lost his best friend. Sadly missed by Husband, Jimmy; Daughters, Veronica and Sydney; Nana, Poppa, Gramma Cindy; Brother, Frankie and Rachael and Gram. Preceded in death by her Gram Veronica, Nanny. We all love you very much! Mass will be offered 9:00 a.m., Friday, May 5, 2006 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 300 N. Tanque Verde Loop Road. Burial to follow in Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery.
