Clarissa Drinnan "Crissie" JACKSON

JACKSON, Clarissa "Crissie" Drinnan 11/26/1920 - 11/6/2017 Clarissa died Monday, November 6th predeceased by her husband, Frank Rogers Jackson and her son, Charles Alvin Jackson. She is survived by her son, Roger Jackson; daughter-in-law, Cindy Jackson; grandsons, Thomas and Christopher Jackson and great- grandson, Austin Charles Jackson of Tucson and her daughter, Nora Joice and son-in-law, David Joice of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Clarissa was a graduate of Oklahoma A&M (now Oklahoma State) University. As the wife of Frank Jackson, USAF Lt. Colonel, she travelled the world to his many overseas assignments with her three children creating new homes for her family in 22 different residences during his 24 year USAF career. Clarissa (or Crissie as known to her friends) came to live in Tucson with her family in 1966, where she resided until her death. She was very involved for many years in her church, St. Paul's UMC, assuming a leadership role in the United Methodist Women. She is fondly remembered by her family and many friends as a warm and loving woman. A woman of deep spirituality she was a mentor and inspiration for her family and many in her church community. Clarissa's family wishes to thank Villas at Houghton Care Homes for the loving care and friendship they provided for her during the last three years of her life.
