Eighteen years have passed, yet it feels like just yesterday that we were casting lines into the water, sharing stories, and laughing together at family dinners. Your love for fishing was as vast as the ocean, and just like those peaceful days by the water, the memories we hold are timeless. You are deeply missed, and though you're no longer here with us physically, your spirit continues to be a guiding presence in our lives. We cherish every moment we shared and hold you close in our hearts always. Your Brother Duane

Hey Dale, Well it is hard to believe it has been 17 years..... Uncle Bud has joined you guys at the point. There is so much I wished both of you could have been here for. Raquel and I have been together for 10 years (Bro, you would have liked her), Devin is at NAU and having a blast. My Tile store has been opened up for 5 years now and My Wedding. I think I won´t make it up to the lake until April/May, Last time Travis and friends went up for 5 days. Just remember all of you are missed and thought of often.
Love, Duane and Raquel

Dear Dale,
Tonight's missile launch of the SpaceX missile brought back a treasured memory for me.
A similar missile launch many years ago caused you to call me one evening as you were driving your Sysco truck from Tucson to Phoenix. You called me and alarmingly told me to look to the western sky as a missile was lighting up the sky. I rushed outside to see what many saw tonight. If I remember correctly, it was the last time I spoke with you.
So here we are, many years later and you are never far from my thoughts. Tonight's missile launch caused me to remember you and how much you are missed by many.
I hope you're well, old friend. You are remembered always by me and Chuck and all your friends and family.
Merry Christmas, Dale.
Your old buddy,
Tim Grady

Pink Floyd wish you were here, Steve miller band fly like an eagle. War Cisco kid. The convoy song. Hi Bro,
Well it is hard to believe it has been 10 years tomorrow . I'm hoping you are showing dad all the good fishing spots and catching up. You both are missed dearly by friends and family. I was up at Hawley Lake with Mom, Devin and Diego last week. Devin caught an 13in Apache and I got a 17in Brown, about 3 feet from the shoreline
You will be also joined by my father-in-law (Margarito) and Uncle Chuy. Welcome them with open arms with couple beers or a White Russian.
All our love Duane and Raquel

Today would be Moms and your 30th wedding anniversary. I bought her a dozen roses. She was so happy to receive them. I miss you Dad. Watching game one of the World Series. Chicago Cubs vs Cleveland Indians. It's quite the match up. Honestly I don't care who wins. I just want to see a good series. Just want to say hi I miss you and love you lots. Give grandpa a hug for me. I love you. I wish you were still around to meet my gir friend. She just recently got a a white tale last weekend from 175 yards out. She loves the Outdoors and would of loved to meet you. Haha she's prob out fish you too. Just kidding but to spend a day out at the point you two would get a long so well. I love you. I'll talk to you again

Well son, another year has passed without you with us. Woke up this morning thinking of you as I do many mornings. I looked out our back door for the hummingbird who is often perched on our margarita bush as he is a constant reminder of you. He was there. You are not forgotten as mom and I speak of you almost daily. Your brothers all called to check on us. Watch over us. Love you dearly.....Mom & Dad

Today I missed you extra. Who am I kidding, the last 4 months I've missed you extra hard. Tomorrow marks the seventh year. 7 years is too long to miss someone this much. Never has it once gotten easier. You've missed some of the best days of my life; Like getting my license, my first prom, graduating high school, starting college, achieving great things at work, moving out on my own, growing up, getting engaged and most of all giving birth to your beautiful granddaughter. That last one hurts the most. I wish everyday she were able to meet you. You touched so many lives I could only imagine the happiness you would bring to hers. I love you so much. I hope you've found your happy place that you wanted so badly. I know you're proud of us from up above.

Dale, this is a tough month to get through. You taught your older brother well, he caught the most trout with your other brothers this month even though not your favorite Browns. Mom was taught well also as she did quite well at one of your favorite recreational sports. We are constantly seeing reminders of you daily. We all love you dearly and hope you now have found eternal peace and happiness that eluded you when you left us. Our thoughts and prayers will always be with you.

Dale, mom and I got a 3 bedroom time share at Pine Top so your brothers could be with family when we went up to Hawley Lake. Darryl caught the first brown trout (good size) and tossed it back. I did my usual lay back power bait bottom fishing. Doyle, mom and I caught a basket full of rainbows so Doyle got to take some home with him. Duane did the most cast master fishing he's ever done and caught a bunch. Devin was with us and helped bring the trout in. He is getting to be a big boy. He knows your up there some place. We had a great time and could feel your presence at the point. We sure do miss you. Bob joined you recently. Hope you two find all the good locations for when we join you; as we surely will some time in the future. Take care son. Just wanted to chat a little and let you know your missed.

Dale, went to Hawley Lake. The cabin we rented sat directly in line with the fishing point. The A Frame cabin had a wall of windows looking directly at the lake. It was cold and windy a couple of days. Your kind of weather. We had one good day fishing and had enough for a fish fry. Thought of you constantly. We had a good time and Devin brought in four or five trout. He enjoyed it a lot. Take care son and rest in peace. We sure miss you.

Dale,
Well dearest son, your favorite time of the year has just passed......SuperBowl Sunday. We had a very nice gathering of our family friends and with lots of food. You would have loved it. A couple of games of Texas Hold'em took place. You were missed. We did it for you. Mom held up pretty good. You had to be looking down on the Heintz's as your brothers and your Uncle did well and your mom & dad won a little on the football pools. Your Dearest Lisa won as well. We felt you close by watching over us. We only hope you have found the peace you were searching for. We love and miss you.

Dear Family and Friends of Dale's,
I just returned home from the services in Tucson. My name is Scott, Dale called me "Scotty". We met in our freshman year of highschool in San Diego at Mt. Carmel High.He was sitting alone at lunch and I sat down near him. We hit it off right away. Dale always introduced me to friends in Tucson as "the first guy to talk to him and be his friend in S.D." That always made me proud, what a good friend he was! I became close with his family, they treaeted me like a brother and a son.I will forever cherish that. Over the years as they moved back and forth between S.D. and T/A, I learned what a great Family they are and what great friends to me they've been.Thier Love, Pride and Strength, especially at this tragic and sad time, is incredible. They are an inspiration! It's been said that a Man can be measured by the number of friends he has, if so, Dale was a GREAT Man, because there must have been 500-600 people at his services! WOW!I sat and watched you all and I listened to your stories, your tears, your laughter and I am proud and Honored to have been included as Dale's friend.I wa proud to be a part of Dale and Lisa's wedding. Lisa he was so happy and was happy about it everytime we talked.Lisa, you were, ARE his Love. XO! Derek and Danette, every time your Dad and I talked he mentioned you guys and how proud he was of you both, Hold your heads up high, be Friendly like your Dad-talk to people, and take care of your MOM for Him. Duane- Thank You for calling me, I know it was hard but you did a great Job, Thank You!I'm Proud of you! You remind me of Dale so much especially your laugh! LOL! Give Devin a hug for me!Darrel, Doyle and Duane you are great brothers, be strong, continue to love each other, I'll seee you soon!Mom & Dad-Thank You! I Love You!XO! Dale- I miss you, I love you and will forever hold you in highest regard, with an untarnished reputation and your Honor I will defend till the day I die! May God Bless all those mentioned here and all those who knew Dale! Forever Yours! Scott

Lisa, Derek, Danette and the entire Heintz family: No words can adequately convey our sorrow. Dale was my oldest friend, my catcher at CDO, and a groomsman in our wedding. Over the years, Linda and I always looked forward to seeing him and his family on our trips back to Tucson. His passing leaves a void in our lives but the memory of who he was, how he lived, and the times we shared will endure. God bless you,

Hello Lisa,Derrick and Dannette. While it has been a long time since we have seen each other, I was deeply saddened by the news of Dale's passing on to Heaven. I have not seen you and the kids much since Sean and Derrick were both going to Grandma Gloria's day care on the range. The ironic thing is that I was telling Sean last week that was how he got the name Seanito. Dale and I would race to get off early to see who could pick up our child first. That was always the way with Dale and myself. I was a skinny freshman at CDO and played third base and led the team in hitting. Dale made sure to come by after the awards banquet to let me know I had a long way to go to catch up with him. He continued that practice at 7UP and let me know that I had a long way to go to be the same quality bulk truck driver he was. And by the way his other brother Darryl didn't help out matters. In a lot of ways Lisa, Dale inspired me to get better. So you can imagine the satisfaction that I had years later when I was playing softball in the biggest tournament of the year and I made a play. Dale made a point to find me and tell me that was the best play he had ever seen at any level. I took that then and now as one of the greatest compliments I have ever received! Darryl and Doyle and the rest of the Heintz family I express my deepest sorrow for your loss. Dale most of all was a great family man, Husband and proud Father. But always a friend. God Speed Dale!
Sincerely,
Mike, Sean and Kyle Stewart

I was greatly saddened to learn of your loss. There are no words I can say to take your pain away but maybe it will help a little to know that he will live on in so many hearts. To know Dale was to love Dale. His smile that came from the heart the kindness, the willingness to accept everyone, and then there are the "Dale Stories"- he never let the joke be on him, he had no fear of laughing at himself or telling you of his newest misadventure or one of his past ones. (Not that he was in the same league for misadventures as his brother Darrell but close...) When he told a story you couldn't help but laugh along with him.
Dale was unique, a true original! The world has lost one of its brighter stars. The world IS a better place because of he lived. Not just because he brought Derrick and Dannette into the world. We all have happy memories of him.
It has been years since I spent time with Dale and all of the extended Heintz family but I will always remember how kind and accepting everyone was. Truly happy memories. A very special family. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know it will be difficult but remember to stay close to each other and try and focus on the good times.

Dear Lisa and family: Dale will be sorely missed. I always looked at the Sysco trucks going by to see if it was Dale. If it was, he always had a big ol' smile and a friendly wave.
If you need anything, don't hesitate to contact me.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May the happy memories of Dale sustain you during this difficult time. Dale and I weren't close friends in high school, but he was always a nice, sweet guy. I ran into him a year or so ago and spoke with him at length when I was looking for Doyle for our class reunion about 3-1/2 years ago. Dale was very funny and friendly as well.
I won't say that I know exactly how you feel, but I lost my Stepfather unexpectly in January, so I have a good idea. They say that as time passes, emotional pain eases, but we are forever changed. I hope that the gift of time provides peace for us all.
I hope that you find some solace in knowing that many others are grieving Dale's loss and praying for you. God Bless!

Dale,
Even though we were never as close as we were in High School I will never forget the great times we had on and off the field.Everytime I play darts I remember that you tought me the game during lunch break at school. When I see a great young ballplayer, I cannot help but to compare them to your talent. When I see other people laugh, I remember that you always had a smile on your face through good times and bad. I am so glad that I got to spend time with you and got to know so well.I wish I had the opprtunity to spend one more day with you. You will not only be missed by me, but by my entire family .
To your family, I send my deepest sympathy. I cannot imagine how much your loss means to them, but remembering the good times they shared with you, surely will help ease the pain.
I will see you on the other side soon and hopefully you will find time to play little catch with me!!
God bless.
