In loving memory of Daniel Kujawa, born March 13, 1936 at a Red Cross Station in Loon Lake, Saskatchewan. As the oldest child of Ukrainian immigrants, he grew up regularly assisting Russian and Ukrainian families immigrating to Vancouver, British Columbia. He first met his wife of sixty years helping her family find its way in Vancouver after emigrating from Russia at the end of World War II. Throughout his life he continued to help immigrants and refugees and was a genuine friend to anyone down on their luck.

Dan's graduation from the University of British Columbia was followed by a most successful career in banking that started with the Royal Bank of Canada and eventually led him, his wife and two daughters to Tucson, Arizona. Within the Tucson business community, he was well respected for his business acumen and integrity. Despite the noteworthiness of his own accomplishments, he was always more impressed by those with a degree from the "School of Hard Knocks," and went out of his way to recognize and uplift these too often unsung heroes.

Most often referred to as "Daddy" or "Mr. Kujawa," he will always be a cherished soul, dearly missed by many. He is preceded in death by his brother David, two sisters (Ruth and Mary) and darling wife, Olga. He is survived by his two daughters and their husbands, Natalie (Brian), Kourtney (Gary), as well as three grandsons, Clay, Andy and Kyle, all of whom he loved immensely. His family takes comfort knowing he has been reunited with his wife Olga and that together they are enjoying life's highest promotion; eternity with their Lord and Savior." The Memorial Service will be at: East Lawn Palms Mortuary & Cemetery 5801 E. Grant Rd. Tucson Sunday, January 14, 2:00 p.m. Burial & Reception to follow immediately.
