Daniel Richard McRoberts

Daniel Richard McRoberts who was born on April 5, 1945, passed away on November 10, 2013. Dan was predeceased by his father, Roy McRoberts and his granddaughter, Danielle Ulmer. He is survived by his mother, Leona McRoberts of Tucson, AZ and his daughters, Lorre Wisham of Tucson, AZ; Heidi (Scot) Dean of Millerton, NY and Kelli (Mike) Smith of Houston, TX and his step-children, Ron (Jennie) Silvas, Nicole (Armando Guzman) Silvas, and Erika (Jerrell) Bryant. He is survived by his grandchildren, Stevi Amos, Brianne Ulmer, Vanessa Pacheco, Jazmyn Mejia, Brogan Mejia, Jenifer Dean, Aspen Silvas, Renay Silvas, Aly Dean, Weston Vogel, Alexis Guzman, Sofia Silvas and Danielle Bryant and his great- grandchildren, Ryker Dean Amos, Radek Michael Salinas and Scarlett Stad Osoria. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Suzanne and his best buddy, Joann. Dan retired after 27 years as a manager with IBM. He spent the past 20 years working part-time at HDS Professional Driver Services where he had many friends and enjoyed his work. He enjoyed collecting coins and guns and spending time with the people he loved. He spent a lot of time rebuilding his beloved El Camino and was very proud of it. He was a fantastic cook and the amazing spaghetti dinners he cooked for his grandchildren's birthdays will never be forgotten! He was a great father, grandfather, great-grandfather, neighbor and friend. The family would like to extend our deepest thanks to Kathy Brooks and Marsha Moses for their tireless support and assistance with our dad's care. We would also like to thank Arizona Oncology, specifically, Dr. Brooks and PA Linda Moors for their compassionate care. There will not be a public service.
