A Life Fully Lived
1945 - 2017
David passed February in Tucson, Arizona with family and friends near. He was a 50 year Tucson resident and 1970 graduate from the University of Arizona. A distinguished educator and coach and a 26 year veteran of the Amphitheater School District, he taught at Nash Elementary, Danielson and Amphitheater Middle Schools. He retired in 1997. Memorial: Saturday, April 29, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at VISTOSO FUNERAL HOME, 2285 E. Rancho Vistoso Blvd., Oro Valley, Arizona 85755. Reception to follow with heavy hors d'oeuvre at the location above.

David always called me "Debbie Dew" He always wanted to take me to Globe, to meet his mother. I really miss David. I called him a few years back, he barely recalled me. I should have gone to Tucson to visit, he didn't want me to.

Mr. Upshaw was my 6th grade teacher at Nash Elementary in 1976. He was tough, but a very good teacher. RIP old friend.
