Donna Bishop Obituary

Donna L. Bishop (Campbell) 12/27/46 - 2/25/10 THE WORLD'S BEST MOM Loving Mother, Daughter, Grammy, Sister, Aunt and Friend passed away peacefully after losing her battle to cancer. Born in Bisbee to Alma A. Trowbridge and Thomas Edward Campbell (deceased). Donna grew up in Tucson and attended Catalina High School. She married and moved away, but the love of her family always brought her back to the desert. In 1981, Donna moved to Los Angeles. There she found her passion in work-the studios. From Family Ties to Moesha (with many shows in between), Donna loved being an Assistant Prop Master. Long days and hours didn't bother her, she enjoyed the friendships and stage families she made. Eventually, Donna came home to Tucson to be near her two beloved grandchildren. Grammy's door was always open with the TV blaring, snacks and sodie pops waiting for the lights of her life. Survived by children, Heylie (Brand) Eigen and John Hubbes; mother, Alma Trowbridge; sisters Tracy and Denise Alexander; brothers, Tom and John Campbell; grandchildren, Jack and Samantha Eigen; nieces, Cindy and Kelly Campbell. Her favorite ex-husband and friend, Ernie Bishop; special friend, Ed Okil and Lulu Belle, her rescue mutt and constant companion. Many more relatives and friends will miss her dearly. We're going to miss your laugh. Loves ya, Mom!

Donna was an absolute one-of-a-kind lady! Her laugh would draw you in and tickle your insides. Yes, indeed, that laugh will be sorely missed. To me, when I was child, Donna defined my idea of what an exotic and worldly woman was. (And I liked it!) A show biz career suited her perfectly. She was kind and generous. She was hilarious. And devious. She really did have charisma and it was always(!) fun to be around her.

I truly regret not having seen her in recent times. I am really going to miss her, miss knowing that she is out there. I have a sad heart, but can feel a smile somewhere in there knowing that, without question, the hereafter just got a lot more interesting, and fun!

All my love to Heylie and John and all my family. I miss you all very much and think of you often.

To Donna's Faimly,
I was so sorry to hear about Donna's passing. Sadly to say I had not see Donna for many years. We went to school together from Jr High on. I considered her a very dear friend
back then, we had many good times together. My heart breaks for all of her family and I pray God will give you peace and heal your broken hearts.
