Doris H. Tennyson

Doris H. Tennyson 84, died February 27, 2008. Survivors include her children, Larry (Mary Ann), Nina McAdow and Kevin (Gerri); grandchildren, Larry, Traci, Michelle, Michael, Heath, Nathan, Amanda, Katie, Maria and Jeffery; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters. Nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; and son, Mark. Mrs. Tennyson was a graduate of the U of A School of Nursing - Class of 1972 and worked for the Pima Co. Health Department. She and her husband were foster parents to more than 150 children. Funeral service 12:30 P.M. Monday, March 3, 2008 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL with Pastor Glen Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Tucson Memorial Park East Lawn. The family requests contributions to the Arizona Cancer Center, 1515 N. Campbell Ave, Tucson, AZ 85724 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
