1931 - 2026
Edgar McCullough Obituary
He devoted his life to education, serving at the University of Arizona as a geology professor, department head, and founding dean of the College of Science. A dedicated teacher and mentor, he inspired generations of students.
In later years, he contributed to humanitarian efforts along the southern Arizona border, helping map migrant trails to support life-saving aid. He deeply believed in helping others and leaving a meaningful impact on the world.
He is survived by his daughter, stepchildren, grandchildren, and wife. He was preceded in death by his son, Edgar J. McCullough III. His family is deeply proud of the life he lived and the legacy he leaves behind.
