Edward Cavaletto Obituary

Edward Flores Cavaletto age 90 of Tucson, AZ peacefully passed away surrounded with members of his family on Saturday, January 10, 2015. Preceded in death by Amadeo and Sarah Cavaletto. Survived by wife, Alice S. Cavaletto of 66 years; survived by sister, Magdalene Bautista; daughter, Martha Celey and sons, Mario (Marian) Cavaletto and Richard (Dee) Cavaletto. Also survived by eight grandchildren, Sean Celey, Melissa (Travis) Wilson, Delania Cavaletto, Christopher (Amy) Cavaletto, Sara Warzecka, Zack Warzecka, Justin Spoonamore and Brandon (Kelley) Cavaletto and three great-grandchildren, Mya and Lyla Cavaletto and Cooper Wilson. Edward was a native Tucsonan, WWII vet with the Air Force and retired from Southern Pacific Railroad after 46 years. A cherished and wonderful father he was a private man who put his family first. Visitation will be held today January 14, 2015 from 9:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church, 300 S. Tucson Blvd. with a Rosary recited at 10:00 a.m. Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Hope Cemetery. Daddy,
The strongest man I know. I need to tell you thank you for everything you ever did for Sean and I and now Cooper. You were the most amazing father figure I could have asked for and now I'm not sure how life goes on. Cooper and I just think you walk on water and I think we do too. I wish Travis who you connected with and loved for me because y'all had a common goal the country and your family come first was here to show you he will look after gma, mom, me and Cooper baby. I am heart broke that 3 weeks ago we were together and no we are here reflecting. I am forever grateful for every memory, every moment, and the fact I can relieve them daily through pictures and my and mind. You are an angel and I just hope you watch my boy grow and send a sign you're with us along our journey. I'll always remember Eddie as the friendly daylight shift crew dispatcher at SP. Always there to help you out if you needed time off and although I didn't get the opportunity to get to know him well he was always what I considered a good guy and friend. RIP Eddie
