Good night, Mom. We are all well, just processing your glorious absence from our daily lives. I miss you and love you. You were and remain my best friend. Say hi to dad and everyone

Ellie and I became close friends while working for the newspapers. We ran the branch office and worked together until she retired. She had a license plate on her car that said: "to know me, is to love me"...That was so fitting for her. We played phone tag a few months ago and kept missing each other and finally gave up. Wish now I would have tried just a few more times....My condolences to her family. I loved her dearly.
