Fujiko was a dear, dear friend of the Nozaki family for more than fifty years. To my brother and me she was "Aunt" Fujiko, always there for us with an encouraging word or inspiring story. She was a remarkable person to the very end. We will always remember her.

My deepest condolences to Rev. John & Kathy Kitagawa and all the family for your loss, and the passing of this most beautiful and gracious lady. I will miss her ever-present, kind smile as she passes by the choir, with her walker, every Sunday morning, and her words of encouragement to us. She had a welcoming spirit - always taking time to engage the worshipers after services. We thank God for embracing her in a beautiful eternal rest. Our prayers are with all of you at this most difficult time.

Please accept my most sincere condolences on Fujiko's passing. She was indeed a dear and wonderful lady, and was one of the very first to truly embrace and welcome me when I began work at the United Church Board for World Ministries. May the Good Lord forever keep Fujiko, her daughter Karen, and their loved ones in the palm - and calm - of His hand.
