Friends and family,
I was late getting to know George but, I consider myself to be a far richer man for having been able to have regular one-on-one lunches with him for several years and get to know him better. I was always a finer man for the time we had together and I am a most fortunate man for being able to call him my friend.

Dear Nancy and family,
In the history of the Rotary Club of Tucson, your father was one of the greatest in service and one of the most loved. We are grateful for his example and his friedship. We are sorry that we cannot be with you for the service.

I am so sorry I missed the service for your Dad. I just saw it in the paper just this morn. My prayers and thoughts go out to all of you. George was a great man and widely loved.
