George Charles McNeill age 75, died February 20, 2011 at Peppi's House following a massive stroke. Born February 21, 1935 in Gary, Indiana to Raymond and Charlotte McNeill. George served as the Chief Technologist and Manager of the Nuclear Medicine Division at the University Medical Center for 30 years. He was a member of the International Society of Lymphology and he and Laura traveled to many interesting and fascinating places all over the world with other members from UMC. He retired six years ago and with Ana Laura moved to St. David, Arizona. They adopted two beautiful retired Greyhounds and George kept busy taking them for walks. They were "the kids" and he enjoyed showing them off. Memorial Service 10:00 a.m. Sunday, March 20, 2011 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. In lieu of flowers please consider contributions to Peppi's House TMC Hospice or Greyhound Rescue of Southern Arizona in Sierra Vista.

George McNeill was my mentor, my boss, my good friend. I am so lucky to have had him in my life. He touched so many people every day while working all those years in Nuclear Medicine. Patients asked for him by name for years after he retired. He attacked life with such passion. I can't express my affection and respect enough.
