Helen V. "Ginny" WILLSON

WILLSON, Helen V. "Ginny" age 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Tucson, Arizona surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicago, Illinois. Helen was the youngest of five children of Swan and Anna Burkland. Helen's parents immigrated from Sweden, and she was very proud of her Swedish heritage. Helen married Edward B. Willson, III in 1951 while he was serving in the US Army and accompanied him overseas to Japan for Edward's tour of duty. Losing her mother at an early age created in her the desire to be the wonderful mother she was. Helen is survived by her daughters, Julie Marie Willson and Sallie Mae (John) Meyer; grandsons, Jayson (Erica) and Eric Meyer; great-grandsons, Caleb and Cole Meyer. Helen is preceded in death by husband, Edward; parents, Swan and Anna Burkland; brothers, Harry, Paul, Edgar and Elmer; and granddaughter, Samantha Meyer. A Memorial will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 2331 E. Adams Street, Tucson, Arizona 85719. Arrangements by HUDGEL'S SWAN FUNERAL HOME.
