James William Brammer III

James William Brammer III (Jim or Jimmy) passed peacefully on November 10th after an arduous and brave 2-year battle with Cancer. His loving family and Tracy Corey, his death doula, were by his side.



Jim loved being outdoors, particularly hiking on Mt. Lemmon, and he loved watching sports in person and on TV. He was concerned about the environment and did what he could do protect our planet. He loved all animals and humans which was evident in the kindness he demonstrated towards everyone he encountered. He was the ultimate caregiver, always putting the needs of his friends and family first. He will always be remembered as a devoted and loyal son, brother, friend, and the very best dog dad.



Jim was a deeply gentle soul with an enormous heart and a wildly sharp sense of humor. He was the definition of strength and a true warrior in his fight with AML. His family is grateful to the nurses at Banner and the Cancer Center who cared for him through this battle. A special thank you to Dr. Ravitharan Krishnadasan, Felicia, Tracy, Pricilla, Tracy Corey, as well as Jeffery and Dr. Casto from Harmony Hospice.



Jim graduated from Northern Arizona University and, following his love for skateboarding, founded Little Villain Skateboard Company. Years later he fulfilled his dream of owning a skate shop in Tucson, Starr Skates. He loved Starr Skates and guiding young people in the sport and art of skateboarding.



Jim is survived by his parents Donna and Bill, his sister Jill, and several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, James and M.L. Brammer; Maternal Grandparents, Donald and Zelma Crosby; his dear cousin Nicole Brammer Cantalicio, his Uncles Mike and Jay, and his beloved dogs, Muggins, Blake and Molly.
