James Carr Obituary

CARR, James B., 86, born in Knoxville, TN, passed away April 15, 2007. Before retiring as a full Commander, Jim spent 25 years in the U.S. Navy as a fighter pilot, bomber pilot and test pilot. After retiring, Jim spent ten years with IBM as an electrical engineer. He belonged to the Sun City Art and RV clubs and the Catalina Mtn. Elks. Surviving him are fiancee, Polly Reinacker; sister, Bernice Rice; daughter, Teri and various nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, at 8090 N. Northern at Magee on Thursday, April 19, at 1:30 p.m. following a viewing from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Interment will be at National Memorial Cemetery at 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, on Friday, April 20, at 1:30 p.m. with full military honors.
