James Maneval Obituary

James Maneval died on May 28,2024 at the age of 78. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda, daughter, Lindsay, two brothers, and their families. Jim moved from Pennsylvania to Tucson at the age of 6. He graduated from Catalina High School in 1964. He went to the University of Arizona earning a degree in electrical engineering. Jim was a lieutenant in the Army and served in Vietnam. He retired from Tucson Electric Power after a 33 year career as a telecommunications engineer.

Jim was a dear fraternity brother in Tau Kappa Epsilon. He was a totally good guy. He was a leader in Army ROTC. He served bravely and honorably in Vietnam. It doesn´t get better than that!

I was a Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity brother of Jim´s at the University of Arizona. I had the highest regard for Jim. He was a chapter officer and a wonderful well liked guy. I am sad to hear of his passing. Hervey Hotchkiss
