Jill Adelyn Obituary

Jill Adelyn, our dancing queen, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 15, 2025, in Evansville, Indiana with her beloved fiancé Robert by her side. She lived like a comet, showering the world in sparkle for 52 years.

Jill Adelyn Pirtle was born to Jack Pirtle and Klaire Kaufman Pirtle in Tucson, Arizona on August 14, 1973. A child of the sun and sand, Jill distinguished herself early with talents in music, dancing, and academics. Jill could play a song by ear on the piano and loved to make up dances and plays with her cousins.

When her family relocated to Nevada, Jill continued to shine as a scholar and dancer. She participated on a competitive dance team, was a cheerleader in high school, and graduated with honors from Douglas High School in Minden, Nevada. Then the Sonoran Desert sang to Jill, calling her back to her hometown. She attended the University of Arizona and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1995 with a degree in elementary education.

Jill taught in elementary schools for a few years, and after some time raising her children, she turned her gifts to her real passion: aesthetics. She used her teaching skills to help hundreds of clients learn how to care for their skin and made everyone she touched that much more beautiful. An ageless beauty herself, Jill was her own spokesmodel when she opened her own business, Jill Adelyn Aesthetics. Always a brilliant entrepreneur, she leveraged her extensive knowledge about makeup to create her own cosmetics line. Family was always first for Jill, and she named lipsticks, blushes, and foundation colors after women in her family.

Now that we bring up the most important thing in Jill's life (family), Jill was blessed by four incredible children, Angelo, Liliana, Diego, and Mateo. Those children were her whole heart (incredibly, her heart was so big there was still always plenty of room for the rest of us, thank goodness). Jill's already radiant smile became almost blinding when she was looking at the faces of her children. They are her crowning achievement.

Jill was fiercely loyal to people she loved, always assuring us that she was available to help bury a body, if needed. While she was never called upon to perform this service, it was comforting to know that she was out there, just in case. She was everyone's greatest champion, always the loudest cheer in the crowd.

We will miss our warrior princess and will always have a Jill-sized hole in our hearts. The world has lost a beacon of light and beauty, and we have lost her laugh and big, tight hugs. Without Jill's skillful makeup intervention, when we look in the mirror, we will forever be a little disappointed in our appearance.

Jill Adelyn is survived by her fiancé, Robert Wolf; the father of her children, Freddie Martinez; her parents, Jack and Klaire Pirtle; siblings Patricia Siek (Doug); Mark Pirtle; Linde Pirtle (Ken); James Pirtle; Amber Asbjornsen (Andy); children Angelo Martinez, Liliana Martinez (Jacob), Diego Martinez, Mateo Martinez; nine nieces and nephews; three grand-nieces and nephews; two grand-cats, Luna and Willow; and thousands of friends and clients.

Please think of Jill every time you're lucky enough to see a disco ball catch the light. Rest easy, shooting star. Shine bright like a diamond.

Jill's celebration of life will be announced at a later date, and we look forward to celebrating our beautiful girl together.

In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to Jill's grandmother's scholarship (the establishment of which was Jill's idea) at Pima Community College, the Muriel Kaufman Memorial Endowment: https://pimafoundation.org/muriel-b-kaufman-memorial-endowment/. Donations via check can be mailed to the Pima Foundation, 4905 C E. Broadway Blvd. #246, Tucson, AZ, 85709.

Let all that you do be done in love.

Jill's memories sparkled like she did, catching her true being. Thank you for writing her obituary.

All who have been touched by Jill have lived through a unique storm of smiles, hugs, energy, intelligence, creativity and positivity. All who knew her have been changed forever by her life.

To Jack and Klaire, loving parents, I wish you peace, pride and gratitude for bringing such a dynamic person into our world. She was like you both.

To her children, who will always remember their mom in loving ways. Take what you loved most about your mom and add it to your persona in her honor. Make her proud.

Don't let the Jill sparkle hide, shine it brightly. She lives in your hearts forever.

My last hug from Jill was November 1st. She and Robert always together attended a friend's party. Jill always gave me a loving hug, and her sweetest smiles were saved for Robert, but she often shared them with me too. I will miss her in so many ways. Now that's she's there I wonder if she's giving Angel's beauty tips. But I'll see her sparkling eyes and radiant smile again someday. Until then my sweet friend.

Sending my condolences to the children, Robert & family. Jill will be missed. I loved her deeply. I started as a client and we fast became friends. I was in her first class of learning to do Lashes. Fly high sweet Jill.
