Joan was not only my realtor, but my friend. I am so sorry for her passing. She loved taking care of people, be it delivering babies or helping those find their dream homes. She'll be deeply missed by many

Joan was one special lady, and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she interacted with. And I am so one of those people. I've read remembrances, praises of Joan from former patients and those from whom she sold a house. With Joan, business and friendship coexisted. I'm still shocked she died but am so grateful I met this wonderful woman and was able to visit with her just a month ago. She was scared, but also upbeat. She was able to escape the pain of her disease and be the warm, gracious, thoughtful woman I knew from day one. I am so very sorry I no longer can be uplifted by this remarkable woman. Peace be with you, dear Joan.

While I hadn't stayed in contact I was lucky enough to have spent a few hours with Joan a few years ago for dinner with a group of us from Thunderbird Academy. She was just as fun and entertaining as she was in high school. My condolences to her entire family. Losing a loved one is difficult.

So sad to hear of Joan's passing...we did several births together and sometime walked around Reid Park. I am glad she is no longer suffering. My heartfelt condolences to the family.
