Joel Corona Obituary

Joel Sebastian Corona 2/25/1985 - 12/3/2012 Joel ascended to heaven peacefully with his family and loved ones by his side. He lived his 27 years full of love and joy. He touched the life of many with his diverse and unique paths of his life. His fashionable and eye for design along with his passion for dance will remain in our hearts and treasured in our fond memories of him. His beloved parents, Ronnie and Alma Alicia Corona; brothers, Ian Francisco (Alejandra), Ryan Young (Rachel Mely) and Ronnie Casey; sister, Mia Alicia and niece, Marina Aleiana. All await the day when they are reunited with him in the presence of our heavenly father. Visitation and Viewing Friday, December 14, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Scared Hearth Church, 601 E. Ft. Lowell. Mass on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 Stone Ave. Followed by the gravesite service at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S. Park. Arrangements by FUNERARIA AZAHARES.

I miss you so much but I can always feel you around. It makes the pain of losing you a little less. Thank you for everything! You were definitely a kindred spirit and even though I only knew you for a year, I feel like we lived an entire lifetime in that short time we had. I know you can't hear me, but I want you to know that I miss you. Last night was so hard for me. I wanted to go see you at the church, but I just could not go in. So I sat in the parking lot and talked to you. I watched so many people go in to say "goodbye" to you, but I just couldn't do it. And now today is the day everyone will see you for the very last time. I wish I could go to your service, but it hurts too much. So instead I will tell you that I love you and that I will see you again someday. I'll send your mom a message in the next few days, but for now, I just want to remember you and those beautiful eyes. A fabulous Zumba Instructor who shortly became a Very Dear Friend..in little time i discovered you were a soul with many talents. From Zumba,choreoghraphy, cakes, hair, makeup to the best Patron drinking partner i have ever known =)... Dancing with you was always something i looked forward to along with your conversations of goals you were in progress of acheiving...i loved to hear how you wanted to save the whales!! You will forever be in my heart as one of the most fabulous, caring, clowning, humble and sexy divas i have ever been blessed to know. It breaks my heart to think I won't have the pleasure of seeing you stop in the middle of a song to look at me with those gorgeous eyes to smile and tell me "i know you can shake it more than that....come on SHAKE IT " then casually turn around and move like you invented the whole movement!! I know your teaching the angels moves that are more than likely forbidden....I love you Friend!!! And you will forever be missed until we meet again <3

My Favorite Zumba Instructor and Dear Friend...our time was far too short..but just in the little time I had with you I saw what a talented person you are.
