Joy Moyer Obituary

Joy S. Moyer 69, passed away on September 21, 2011 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on November 7, 1941 in Marshalltown, Iowa where she met and married her husband, Richard L. Moyer. They were married for 39 years before he preceded her in death in 1999. Joy had been a resident of Tucson, AZ for 12 years. She is survived by many family members and friends who loved and will greatly miss her including; two daughters, Leigh Ann (Mrs. Bob) Cole of Albuquerque, NM and Pam (Mrs. David) Compton of Tucson, AZ; two sons, Stuart Moyer of Chicago, IL and Bradley (Rene) Moyer of Bradenton, FL; eight grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, Alexandra and Jamie Dick, Ryan, Nick and Kelsey Compton, Wesley, Brooks and Scarlett Moyer and Ryan and Kendra Cole. She is also survived by her mother, Betty Warnell of Marshalltown, IA; two sisters, Tharen Payne of Tulsa, OK and Jan Zatovich of Marshalltown, IA; an aunt, Sandra Swanson of Marshalltown, IA; an uncle, Bill McLeland of Lacy, WA and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held in Marshalltown, IA at the Lamoille Congregational Community Church on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by FRENCH MORTUARY.

Am shocked to hear of Mrs. Moyer's passing. What a nice woman. She boarded her cats with us, at Royal Pet. My wife and I and those affiliated with Royal Pet pass on our sincere condolences. Always remember her for being so nice
